Refund and Returns Policy
At PBRGLOBAL TOUR AND TRAVELS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, we aim to provide clear and transparent terms regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and how refund requests are handled for our travel packages, tour bookings, accommodation, transportation, and other travel-related services.
By making a booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Terms
Refund eligibility depends on the specific travel package or service booked, the cancellation date, and the cancellation policies of the relevant hotels, airlines, transport operators, activity providers, and other third-party suppliers.
Not every booking is refundable. Some services may be fully or partially non-refundable.
The applicable refund and cancellation conditions will be communicated to the customer at the time of booking wherever applicable.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Customers who wish to cancel a booking must contact PBRGLOBAL TOUR AND TRAVELS through our authorized communication channels.
Refunds, if applicable, will be calculated after deducting any applicable:
- Cancellation charges
- Hotel or accommodation cancellation fees
- Airline or transportation cancellation charges
- Activity or attraction cancellation fees
- Supplier or service-provider charges
- Payment gateway or transaction charges, where applicable
- Administrative or processing charges, where applicable
- Other non-refundable amounts associated with the booking
The remaining eligible amount will be refunded to the customer.
3. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain travel services may be non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Promotional or special-rate bookings
- Non-refundable hotel reservations
- Certain airline or transport tickets
- Advance-purchase offers
- Certain activity or attraction tickets
- Bookings specifically identified as non-refundable
- Services where the third-party supplier does not permit refunds
If a booking is marked as non-refundable before payment, the customer will not normally be eligible for a refund for that component.
4. Cancellation Due to Customer No-Show
If a customer fails to use a booked service without providing an approved cancellation request, it may be treated as a no-show.
No-show bookings may be non-refundable, depending on the terms of the relevant service provider.
No refund will generally be provided for missed flights, transportation, hotel check-ins, tours, activities, or other services where the supplier’s policy does not allow a refund.
5. Cancellation by PBRGLOBAL TOUR AND TRAVELS
In exceptional circumstances, PBRGLOBAL TOUR AND TRAVELS may need to cancel or substantially modify a booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a refund is applicable, we will process the eligible amount according to the applicable booking and supplier terms.
Where possible, customers may be offered an alternative travel arrangement instead of a refund.
6. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
Refunds arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, political disturbances, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events, will be subject to the policies of the relevant service providers.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in obtaining any refund or credit that is available from the relevant supplier.
7. Refund for Partially Used Packages
If a customer starts a trip but chooses not to use some of the remaining services, a refund is not automatically guaranteed.
Refund eligibility will depend on the terms of the individual suppliers and the conditions of the booking.
Unused services that are specifically marked as non-refundable will not normally qualify for a refund.
8. Changes to Travel Dates
Changing travel dates is not automatically considered a cancellation.
Date changes may be permitted depending on availability and supplier policies. Additional charges, fare differences, amendment fees, or other costs may apply.
If a date change is not possible and the customer chooses to cancel the booking, the applicable cancellation and refund conditions will apply.
9. Refund Processing
Once a refund has been approved, we will initiate the refund process within a reasonable period.
The time taken for the refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on:
- Payment method
- Bank or financial institution
- Payment gateway
- Credit/debit card provider
- Third-party travel supplier
- International payment processing, where applicable
PBRGLOBAL TOUR AND TRAVELS cannot guarantee the exact time taken by banks or payment providers to credit the refunded amount.
10. Refund Method
Where possible, approved refunds will be made using the original payment method used for the booking.
In certain circumstances, we may request additional information or documentation to verify the customer’s identity or payment details before processing a refund.
11. Duplicate Payments
If a customer accidentally makes a duplicate payment for the same booking, they should contact us as soon as possible.
After verification, the duplicate amount may be refunded after deducting any applicable transaction or processing charges, where applicable.
12. Payment Gateway and Transaction Charges
Certain payment gateway, banking, currency conversion, or transaction charges may be non-refundable.
Where such charges have already been incurred and cannot be recovered, they may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by applicable law and disclosed at the time of booking.
13. Refund Requests
To request a refund, customers should contact us with the following information:
- Customer name
- Booking/reference number
- Travel dates
- Contact number
- Email address used for booking
- Reason for cancellation/refund request
- Payment details or transaction reference, where required
Refund requests should be submitted through our official contact channels.
14. Refund Review
Every refund request may be reviewed individually based on the terms of the relevant booking.
The final refundable amount may differ from the original amount paid because certain components of a travel package may have different cancellation policies.
Where a booking contains multiple services, each service may be subject to its own refund conditions.
15. Taxes and Government Charges
Refunds of taxes, government fees, permits, entrance fees, or other mandatory charges are subject to the policies of the relevant authority or service provider.
Amounts that are non-refundable under applicable supplier or government rules may be deducted from the refund.
16. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for reviewing the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to their booking before confirming payment.
Customers should also ensure that cancellation requests are submitted within the applicable cancellation period.
Failure to cancel within the permitted period may result in reduced or no refund.
17. Policy Changes
PBRGLOBAL TOUR AND TRAVELS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED reserves the right to update this Refund Policy when necessary.
Any changes will be published on this page with the updated effective date.
